Small family-owned laundry & janitorial supply business looking for full-time warehouse manager.

Stable and reliable associate needed to fill role recently vacated by long-term employee.


The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, insuring the efficient receipt, storage, processing and shipment of inventory. The role maintains accurate inventory records, coordinates logistics, and provides excellent customer service through timely and accurate order processing.

**PAY WILL BE COMPETITIVE AND BASED ON EXPERIENCE **

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping products.
  • Enter customer orders accurately using QuickBooks
  • Communicate with customers and salesmen via telephone, email & text
  • Assist customers and salesmen with order status, product availability and general inquiries
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine inventory counts
  • Communicate with management purchasing needs & coordinate with purchasing manager
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight with carriers
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
  • Support delivery drivers by assisting in picking and loading orders
  • Maintain clean and safe warehouse and office


Qualifications:

  • Warehouse and Shipping Experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn QuickBooks
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-player and willing to help in all tasks of business
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
