Job Details
The Public Works Department is seeking an energetic and experienced administrative professional to join the Compost Operations division. This position supports Texas Pure Products, a nationally recognized municipal composting program that transforms yard trimmings and organic materials into high-quality compost, mulch, and soil blends used throughout the region. Texas Pure Products is proud to participate in the U.S. Composting sustainable materials management and environmental stewardship.
We are looking for a team member who embodies our core values of respect, teamwork, trust, safety, and communication, and who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in administration operations, including processing orders, managing high-volume calls and email, coordinating customer requests, processing invoices for payment, and assisting with data tracking and reporting.
This position reports to the Compost Operations and Business Manager and works closely with the Assistant Director of Public Works - Community Services. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do, so the successful candidate must be highly responsive, detailed oriented, and committed to delivering a positive experience for every customer interaction. This is a dynamic role in a fast-moving environment that offers the opportunity to be part of a fun, collaborative, and professional team while supporting a program that makes a meaningful environment impact in the community.
