Restaurant Managers are hospitality driven, ambiance managers, teachers, leaders, coaches & bussers. They are the glue that holds it all together & the guiding light to keep our teams heading to the right direction. They are experts & excited to share that knowledge with their teams while developing future leaders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years (current) salaried management experience at a high-volume restaurant
DUTIES:
- Adheres to & upholds all guidelines in BarFly Ventures Employee Handbook procedures through disciplinary conversations, documentation & coaching of hourly staff
- Greets all Staff/Guests/Co-workers warmly & professionally
- Maintains the quality & integrity of our product through line checks, production, preparation, timing, ordering, receiving & inventory (where applicable)
- Monitors & proactively controls labor through proper planning, scheduling & shift running procedures
- Cash handling & management
- Maintains responsible service of alcohol & handles all guest "cut offs"
- Leads the shift through floor presence, guest interactions, ambiance management & effective communication
- Knows & validates the performance of all positions
- Completes all daily tasks as required
- Maintains compliance with all SOPs, including, but not limited to, Mystery Shop, Training, Health Department & Ecosure Standards
- Maintains building safety, sanitation & upkeep through proper opening, closing & facility walkthroughs, shift execution & repair & maintenance follow up.
- Effectively resolves all guest/service issues; going above & beyond to ensure the highest level of satisfaction

- Effective & professional communicator (in person, through email, over the phone & via POS)
- Excellent multi-tasker; prioritizes tasks & operates with a sense of urgency
- Stays well organized with a strong attention to detail

- Able to read & follow written directions & recipes, including interpreting measurement abbreviations
- Able to identify when a product does not meet quality standards & resolve the issue before bringing product to guest
