DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring an Operations Manager in Austin, Texas to lead all aspects of Commercial Door Systems to ensure high satisfaction levels are maintained for customer construction projects performed. POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Lead and oversee commercial operations and personnel associated with efficiently, effectively, safely, and profitably 
  • Manage and improve operational processes and procedures with the objective of providing maximum profit and return with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and return business
  • Effectively manage operations to ensure sold jobs are timely scheduled and skillfully performed to achieve divisional budgeted sales and gross profit objectives
  • Collaborate to ensure operating budgets and sales goals align and are on track monthly
  • Deliver Profit Dollars and the return on sales that meets or exceeds the yearly financial budget/forecast
  • Establish objectives and action plans and ensure all are consistent with corporate objectives
  • Hire, train and develop new employees; improve individual performance through daily coaching, project outcomes, Scorecard reviews, and performance reviews
  • Effectively lead meetings, set performance expectations and hold employees accountable
  • Communicate with customers directly to solicit feedback, solve problems and/or learn of new sales opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum 2 years' performance as Department Manager, Operations Manager and/or Project Manager in the Service Provider industry with familiarity and knowledge of construction project management and installation of building materials.
  • Possess an ability for technical applications, mechanical/electrical systems and problem solving
  • Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel, as well as hiring, training, developing and conducting annual performance reviews
  • Must enjoy a high level of activity in a hands-on environment where there is an emphasis on meeting deadlines and providing unmatched customer service
