Job description

Position Overview

The Data Analyst supports the business by partnering closely with Sales Operations, Sales, Product, Marketing, and R&D teams to deliver insights, reporting, and process improvements. Our team operates as an internal service organization - we exist to make our partner departments faster, smarter, and more data-informed. This role is a great fit for someone who takes ownership of their work, holds themselves accountable for delivering results, and is energized by reducing manual work across the business - someone who celebrates wins with the team and treats setbacks as opportunities to learn.

Success in this role comes from pairing the right applications with the right processes, used in unison. Strong tools without disciplined process produce one-off answers that don't scale; strong process without the right tools slows the business down. The analysts who thrive here do both - picking the right system for the question (Tableau, Excel, Oracle, Salesforce, Eloqua, GA4, Qualtrics), then wrapping it in clear scoping, documentation, stakeholder review, and automation so the work compounds over time.

This role is a great fit for someone who takes ownership of their work, holds themselves accountable for delivering results, and is energized by reducing manual work across the business - someone who celebrates wins with the team and treats setbacks as opportunities to learn.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau Server to support decision-making across Product, Sales, Marketing, and R&D.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, ask clarifying questions, and translate business questions into actionable analyses.
  • Build and maintain forecast models and own the forecasting process end-to-end - consolidating inputs from Sales, Product, and Marketing into a clear view of performance by product category and geography and applying historical trend analysis to improve forecast accuracy over time.
  • Develop pricing models to evaluate new-product pricing and validate margin targets, partnering with Application Analysts to load approved pricing accurately into Oracle and Salesforce.
  • Work with Oracle EBS data sources made available via Tableau; develop a working understanding of the system to interpret and contextualize the data accurately.
  • Pull and analyze data from Salesforce Sales Cloud (leads, opportunities, quotes) to support sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Develop email marketing reporting using Oracle Eloqua, partnering with Marketing to track campaign performance and engagement metrics.
  • Analyze on-page web analytics using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to support marketing and product decisions.
  • Design, deploy, and analyze surveys in Qualtrics; turn results into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Use Excel extensively for ad hoc analysis, modeling, and stakeholder-facing deliverables.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to reduce manual effort across the organization - automating recurring reports, simplifying workflows, and eliminating one-off data pulls.
  • Partner with the Data Governance team to support reliable data pipelines and consistent, trustworthy data ingestion.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on data discrepancies and reporting issues; favor proactive reporting over reactive firefighting.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior leadership with a clear narrative arc - leading with the takeaway, tailoring the message to the audience, and using clean visuals to drive confident, data-informed decisions.
  • Document processes, data definitions, and standard operating procedures using Oracle Agile and Microsoft Loop to enable knowledge transfer and team continuity.
  • Manage multiple concurrent requests; pull work proactively from the team backlog and move projects forward without needing step-by-step direction.
  • Build stakeholder review cycles into project timelines - share drafts with enough lead time to incorporate feedback rather than pushing deliverables out at the last minute.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud reporting (leads, opportunities, quotes).
  • Experience with Oracle Eloqua (or equivalent) for email marketing reporting and campaign analytics.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for web and on-page analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS as a business system (modules, workflows, terminology).
  • Demonstrated experience automating manual reporting or processes.
  • Experience with Google BigQuery, particularly for interfacing with GA4 data exports.
  • Familiarity with Qualtrics for survey design and analysis.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency with Tableau (Desktop and Server) building dashboards, publishing, working with extracts and permissions.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, basic modeling).
  • Basic SQL knowledge - comfortable reading queries and writing simple SELECT/JOIN statements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to executives, including C-suite leadership.
  • Strong time and project management skills - including proactive planning for stakeholder review and feedback cycles.
  • Self-starter mindset: comfortable pulling work from a backlog, clarifying scope with the manager and stakeholders, and driving tasks to completion independently.
  • Strong documentation skills and a commitment to knowledge sharing.
  • Exposure to data governance & data architecture concepts.
  • Familiarity with ETL or data prep tools (Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Python/Pandas, dbt).
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance analyst workflows - drafting, summarizing, accelerating analysis, or generating code.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr depending on experience (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
  • Insurance:
    • Medical, Dental & Vision
    • Life & Company paid Disability
  • Retirement Plan (401k):
    • 4% automatic Company contribution
    • Fujifilm matches 50 cents for every dollar you contribute, up to 6% of your salary
