DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Store Manager must be kind and possess a high degree of energy, drive, initiative, and be highly focused on people. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting with all staffing, sales, and operations in a Scooter’s Coffee drive thru kiosk. This role assists in hiring, training, mentoring, leading, and developing a friendly, customer-focused, service-oriented barista team, sets a high-energy work pace, drives sales, increases profit, and demonstrates an engaged management style. The Assistant Store Manager must exemplify the Scooter’s Coffee core values of Integrity, Love, Humility, and Courage! Seeking an AM & PM Assistant Store Manager. Pay range is $14 - $17 per hour based on experience and qualifications.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TO ASSIST AND SUPPORT THE STORE MANAGER AS THEY:

• Ensure a consistent and AMAZING customer experience through superior staffing, high-quality training, execution of brand beverage recipes and techniques, and fostering a kind, team-oriented work environment

• Set and maintain high standards for store appearance, cleanliness, organization, performance, food safety, and equipment maintenance

• Interview, hire, on-board, train, and develop staff to exemplify all company standards in customer experience and operations

• Provide accountability, ongoing performance feedback and development for staff members; identify individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance 

• Maintain high level of accountability for all employees using progressive discipline process; partner with the franchisee, Field Brand Consultant and, when necessary, Human Resources to make termination decisions

• Determine daily and weekly staffing requirements based on business and operational needs and create work schedules accordingly

• Build, execute, and publish a varied schedule to develop employees, meet business needs, and maximize sales potential across all hours of operation 

• Establish and exemplify a "My store, My Team" culture

• Establish and maintain a high emphasis on training, proficiency, efficiency, and product up-sale

• Contribute to store profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales and by managing expenses

• Maintain company standards in personal and store sales/performance metrics

• Encourage and ensure full team participation in both setting store goals and developing action plans to accomplish goals

• Ensure all cash handling, point of sale system, safety, and operational procedures are performed in an accurate, consistent manner

• Maintain daily, weekly, and quarterly financial reports

• Maintain final accountability for store operations
