Role Summary
The Coffee Packager I position is performed in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate preparation, labeling and packaging of products in accordance with company and customer specifications. This position involves daily equipment and workspace safety checks, communication across teams via email and Asana, and proficient use of Adobe Illustrator for label printing. This role requires attention to detail with careful review of roasting schedules to meet production needs, time management skills to ensure timely labeling and bagging operations and communication skills to coordinate supply stocking with the Materials & Inventory Specialist.
The person in this position must be dependable, adaptable and work well in team environments. At the same time, they are a self-motivated individual that takes initiative, stays focused, and delivers high-quality results independently.
This role also requires adherence to environmental, health, and safety protocols, FDA regulations, and company SOPs, including participation in ongoing safety trainings for compliance and best practices. Regular station cleaning, both daily and deep, is expected, along with flexibility to perform other duties as assigned. This position supports the overall efficiency and quality standards of the production and warehouse operations.
Primary Responsibilities
• Perform pre-startup safety and sanitation checks; follow opening procedures.
• Monitor daily communications via email and Asana for task updates.
• Print and prepare labels using Adobe Illustrator and Epson C6500Au.
• Review roast schedules to ensure correct product and quantities.
• Label, fill, and tie bags according to customer specifications.
• Stock and organize supplies; coordinate with Inventory Specialist as needed.
- Assist eCommerce team with order fulfillment.
- Monitors and maintains various inventory items.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and environmental SOPs and regulations.
• Participate in training for warehouse, manufacturing, and safety standards.
• Maintain compliance with FDA and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform daily cleaning and deep cleaning of work area; follow closing procedures.
• Support additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements
