CoffeeDrunk (@coffeedrunk.co) is hiring a passionate, organized and service-minded individual to help lead our Atlantic location.

Weekend availability required | At least 2 years of specialty coffee experience
The General Manager is the team lead for their store, reporting to the Regional General Manager. The General Manager supervises and directs the workforce for their location, making staffing decisions including, but not limited to, hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling, disciplinary action and termination of employment. The General Manager will work with the Regional General Manager to ensure the financial stability and beneficial performance of their location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with integrity, setting the tone for store culture and holding the team to a customer first standard.
  • Stay calm under pressure, keeping operations on track and morale strong during busy periods.
  • Coach and develop employees through clear, timely feedback and hands on performance management.
  • Monitor store metrics and staffing to identify problems early and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Manage hiring, scheduling and compliance with wage, hour and labor laws.Own store safety and security, acting as the first point of contact for incidents involving employees or customers.
  • Drive company programs and initiatives by building local action plans and motivating the team to hit goals.
  • Deliver and uphold exceptional customer service, gathering feedback and resolving escalated complaints.
  • Build strong relationships with the team, addressing morale, motivation and individual needs directly.
  • Recognize achievements and inspire growth, using both existing tools and creative new approaches to keep the team engaged.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 year of specialty coffee experience required.
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience required.
  • Availability to work shifts between CoffeeDrunk's business hours of 6:00am to 6:00pm.
  • Available for early mornings, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Organized, calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position is $24.00 per hour, plus tips. This position is also eligible for 2 weeks of paid time off (PTO) and employee discounts.
