Overview

Tassio Temperature Control is looking for a skilled HVAC Senior Service Technician to join our team in Canoga Park. If you take pride in solving complex HVAC problems and want to be rewarded for the work you generate — not just the hours you clock — this role offers strong base pay, earned commission on top of hourly wages, and the chance to mentor the next generation of techs.

We invest in our technicians: modern equipment, ongoing training, and a team environment where experienced techs are recognized and given room to grow into leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems, identifying issues and delivering effective solutions both residential and commercial.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment

  • Communicate clearly with customers about their HVAC needs and service options — and earn commission for the solutions you recommend

  • Mentor and train junior technicians as a senior voice on the team, with a path toward a Lead Tech role

  • Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations

  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred
  • NATE certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid California driver's license per company policy
  • EPA certification a plus

Why Tassio

  • $32–$45/hr base plus earned commission — top performers take home significantly more
  • Growing, established local business with steady, year-round demand
  • Team culture that values experienced techs and invests in their development
