Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Aberdeen has an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Manager to join their team and the Holman Family!Job Duties:Build, train, motivate, and maintain a quality sales organization.Assist in hiring of sales consultants and conduct in-depth initial training sessions covering dealership selling systems, product knowledge, and professional conduct.Schedule regular training sessions to review and reinforce sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.Negotiate trade-in deals with customers while maximizing profitability for the dealership.Stay informed about the dealership's used vehicle inventory, pricing strategies, and sales procedures.Monitor and manage daily sales operations to optimize efficiency and productivity.Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.Cultivate strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.Collaborate with the service department to ensure a seamless customer experience post-sale.Establish and enforce policies and procedures that prioritize customer satisfaction.Establish appraisal guidelines and standards for sales consultants to follow.Perform all other duties and special projects as assignedEducation and/or Training:Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experienceAdditional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plusProficiency in using CRM software to manage customer interactions, track leads, and analyze sales dataProficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)Relevant Work Experience:3-5+ years’ experience, including 2+ at a leadership levelPrior experience in automotive sales with a proven track record of success in selling vehicles and meeting sales targetsExperience in a sales management role; proficient in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performanceBreadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of departmentsDeveloping and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy#LI-GC1At Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
