Job title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job location: Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US. Travel and relocation required. International travel is not required. Travel is limited to domestic travel to various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs.
Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week.
Number of positions: 5.
Salary and Benefits: $126,000.00/year + Paid Leave, Health Insurance, Group life insurance, Disability, 401(K).
Job description: Design, integrate, improve manufacturing systems or related processes. May work with commercial or industrial designers to refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes using CATIA V5, CREO Parametric, Windchill, Teamcenter, DFMEA, GD&T.
Education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus two years of mechanical design experience. The two years of mechanical design experience must include one year of experience using CATIA V5, CREO Parametric, Windchill, Teamcenter, DFMEA, GD&T.
