Job Summary:

The Senior SecurityManageris responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security strategies to protect personnel, assets, and cargo. This role ensures the integrity of loss prevention programs, enhances cargo security protocols, and proactively identifies and mitigates operational risks. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in physical and logistical security, investigative procedures, and enterprise-level risk management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and enforce security protocols to safeguard employees, facilities, and critical infrastructure.
  • Conduct threat assessments as needed.
  • Coordinateincident response efforts and post-incident reviews.
  • Develop and maintain loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and asset loss.
  • Perform audits and investigations into internal theft, vendor fraud, or inventory discrepancies.
  • Oversee cargo handling and transportation security protocols across supply chain networks.
  • Implement access controls, GPS tracking, and surveillance systems to monitor high-risk shipments.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams and external partners to ensure secure freight movements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks to operations through regular risk assessments.
  • Assist in the development of crisis management and business continuity plans.
  • Monitor global and regional security threats and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Mentor and supervise junior security personnel; provide training and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international security regulations (e.g., C-TPAT, TAPA).
  • Serve as the security liaison with law enforcement, government agencies, and external vendors.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an associate’s two year or preferably a four-year bachelor’s college degree.
  • 8-15+ years of relevant experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Strong knowledge of physical asset protection, cargo logistics, and risk management methodologies.
  • Certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CFE are highly desirable.
  • In depth knowledge with security standards, e.g., Facility Security Requirements, TransportationSecurity Requirements, etc.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to security and safety.
  • Membership in related associations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Willingness to travel and respond to after-hours incidents if required.
Salary Range

$123,000 - $149,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
