Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P)

Aviation Service Partners (ASP) is looking for an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team. At ASP, we specialize in the sourcing and provision of the world's top MRO service, Maintenance, Engineering, and Project Management teams to provide end-to-end MRO services that are cost-favorable, of the highest quality, and utmost reliability.


What You'll Be Doing:

On-Call Maintenance and Scheduled Maintenance at Honolulu, HI, Kona, HI, and Maui, HI. International Airport.


The A&P Mechanic examines, repairs, removes & replaces, assembles, and tests aircraft accessories, such as engines, power brake units, auxiliary electric motors, spark igniters, valves, pumps, fuselage, wings, and oil and fuel tanks, using hand tools and testing devices, and following the appropriate Aircraft & Component Manuals and manufacturer's specifications.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

(Experience with Caravan Cessena 208s and any Commercial Line Maintenance is a major plus)


Valid A&P License

Previous lead experience.

Experience with Commercial or DoD Aircraft.

Technical data or work package instructions; experience using power or pneumatic hand tools.

Demonstrates correct understanding of routine aspects of work.

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repairs, and maintenance.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.

Skilled in repairing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining equipment.

Knowledge of FAA requirements for aircraft maintenance procedures

Ability to interpret and comprehend manufacturer and FAA-approved work package instructions; ability to inspect and install arts/components.

Ability to work in a safe professional manner, adhering to all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, State, and Federal regulations.

As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 "Respirator Protection" regulations with no restrictions that would prevent the proper use and/or seal of the respirator.

Employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations

Must have the minimum tools as required.

Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
