Description
Sawtooth Concepts is looking for a Project Manager - Cabinetry and Millwork to develop project schedules, monitor project progress, and ensure that projects are completed according to schedule and specifications.
This is a Full-Time position (7am-4:30pm Mon-Fri) with some opportunity for overtime. We provide excellent benefits such as: Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, and Medical/Vision/Dental benefits as well as competitive wages.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage an average of $2M-$4M per year in projects (Project contracts can range from $5k up to $2m)
  • Assume full ownership of financial performance, schedules and scope from handoff to closeout
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise
  • Document significant events and changes to projects and complete change orders accordingly
  • Invoice and collect payments via applicable trade platforms
  • Participate in quality control inspections during production and installation
  • Coordinate with team members in drafting, production, installation and any subcontracted services
  • Prepare, coordinate, and distribute appropriate paperwork (e.g. Insurance, submittals, close out docs, warranties, etc.)
  • Participate in cabinet production, construction, and installation as needed
  • Work with Drafter to determine material needs, place orders, and maintain records for all projects
  • Negotiate with vendors for best pricing
  • Assume responsibility for all specialty, non-standard, project specific items
  • Use project management systems (Zoho) to maintain schedule, budget, scope and project visibility
  • May conduct final inspection and signoffs of completed work
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, or Project Management or equivalent experience
  • Professional in Project Management (PPM) or similar certification preferred
  • 2 years of project management experience or related cabinetry experience
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand architectural specifications and architectural drawings
  • Strong time management and work prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to maintain job costs and project budgets
  • Strong knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 70 lbs. safely throughout the facility repeatedly
