Ambulatory Care Pharmacist opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!
Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Ambulatory Care Pharmacist position. The Ambulatory Care Pharmacist plays a critical role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to underserved populations in a community-based setting. This position focuses on improving health outcomes by managing chronic diseases, educating patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and addressing the unique challenges of healthcare access in rural communities. They also conduct clinical research and practice advancement projects as well as patient care quality and regulatory compliance initiatives designed to improve medication-use processes or pharmacy practice. Clinical Pharmacists provide medication and practice-related education/training and actively serve as preceptors for Doctor of Pharmacy students.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution; College diploma in the field of Pharmacy; Maintains annual Pharmacy educational requirements
  • Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: MT State RPh license or PharmD license. Board of Pharmacy Specialties® Certification in ambulatory care
  • Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Clinical pharmacy experience (2-4 years) in an ambulatory care setting preferred. BLS/ACLS certification within 6 months of hire

Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours/week
