Job Profile
Job Summary
Responsible for the advanced troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and maintenance of biomedical equipment. This role involves leading maintenance projects, mentoring junior technicians, and collaborating with medical and IT teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The BMET III provides technical expertise, oversees installations, and plays a key role in medical device integration.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees/Work Experience:
- Associates Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics or related field AND Five (5) years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair or equivalent military training
OR
- HS/GED AND Seven (7) years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair or equivalent military training
License & Certifications:
Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification preferred.
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
