Description
The primary scope of this internship is to assist the QA Engineering team with various projects, pushing forward a lean and efficient Quality program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for post-market complaint investigations
  • Provide support for inspection planning and requirements generation, manufacturing quality planning, and execution.
  • Provide support ot facilitate resolution of product non-conformities.
  • Provide support for risk management files and their creation/assessment.
  • Assist in the planning, creation, and execution of automated programs and measurement systems analysis (MSA).
  • Assist in the creation of Quality Management System (QMS) SOPs, Wis, and Forms.
  • Assist in corrective and preventive action projects as necessary.
  • Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
  • Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent from an accredited institution required

Experience:
  • Must be enrolled in either Junior or Senior year of their Bachelors or final year of their graduate program in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Material Sciences.
  • Must have excellent communication (verbal & written) and organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
