Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary

As a key member of the branch leadership team, the Finance Business Manager reports directly to the VP of Finance and serves as the primary financial business partner for the branch. This role provides strategic financial guidance to the General Manager and branch leadership while overseeing financial planning, reporting, accounting oversight, and business analysis. The Finance Business Manager is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of branch financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This position works closely with Sales, Operations, Real Estate, Shared Services (SSC), and Corporate Finance to support business decisions, improve financial performance, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive operational efficiencies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with branch leadership to provide financial guidance and support strategic business decisions.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends and opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, variance analyses, and weekly/monthly business reporting.
  • Oversee branch accounting activities by partnering with the Shared Services Center (SSC) to ensure accurate and timely month‑end close, reconciliations, payroll, commissions, accounts receivable support, expense reporting, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements, including support for audits and tax‑related activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, standardizing procedures, and implementing best practices across financial operations.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance, SSC, Sales, Operations, and Real Estate teams to support business initiatives, resolve financial issues, and complete special projects.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships while serving as the primary financial advisor for the branch.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience within advertising, media, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience managing large data sets and developing financial models.
  • Knowledge of financial controls and risk management practices.
  • Experience with Workday Financials preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to business leaders.

Physical Demands

The demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Targeted Compensation Range

The Targeted Compensation Range for this New York position is: Min: $113,000 Max: $140,000 Bonus eligible, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Ultimate compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, scope and responsibility of the position, as well as pursuant to salary market benchmarks. This salary range is a good‑faith estimate of the salary for this position.
