Position Summary

Attractions Attendants are responsible for delivering safe, engaging, and memorable attraction experiences while supporting the daily operation of Henderson Sport & Social's Family Entertainment department.
This position is cross-trained to operate laser tag, bowling, redemption, miniature golf, Krazy Darts, arcade operations, and other attractions while providing exceptional guest service throughout the facility. Attractions Attendants proactively support guests, teammates, and facility operations wherever assistance is needed, ensuring every guest enjoys an outstanding experience in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

  • Create fun, engaging, and memorable attraction experiences for every guest.
  • Maintain safe, clean, organized, and guest-ready attractions throughout every shift.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple attractions and departments based on operational needs.
  • Communicate confidently with guests while explaining attraction rules, scoring, and safety procedures.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to support guests, teammates, and facility operations whenever their assigned attraction is not actively in use.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate laser tag, bowling, miniature golf, Krazy Darts, redemption, arcade, and other Family Entertainment attractions while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Welcome guests, explain attraction rules, provide safety briefings, answer questions, and ensure guests understand how each attraction operates.
  • Conduct laser tag safety briefings, monitor games, explain scoreboards, clean and reset equipment, and prepare the arena for the next group.
  • Sell attraction packages, process reservations and purchases using the Point-of-Sale system, distribute bowling shoes, and assist guests with attraction check-in.
  • Assist guests at redemption by scanning game cards, recommending prizes, organizing merchandise displays, upselling prize options, and maintaining prize inventory.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of attractions and arcade equipment and promptly communicate maintenance concerns to management or the Facilities Maintenance team when additional repairs are required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and organization of attractions, arcade games, redemption, bowling shoes, miniature golf, Krazy Darts, laser tag equipment, and surrounding guest areas.
  • Monitor guest behavior throughout the facility and immediately address or report unsafe conditions. Safety is everyone's responsibility at Henderson Sport & Social.
  • Support Guest Services, Party Operations, restaurant food running, bowling operations, and other departments through cross-training as business needs require.
  • Maintain knowledge of Henderson Sport & Social attractions, memberships, promotions, birthday parties, sports programming, tournaments, corporate events, restaurant offerings, and upcoming events.
  • Complete opening, closing, side work, cleaning assignments, and additional operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business needs.
  • Strong communication, guest service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable speaking to individuals and groups while providing clear instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, sports, family entertainment, or guest service.
  • Experience operating attractions or recreational activities.
  • Basic Point-of-Sale and computer experience.
  • CPR/AED certification preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, push, pull, reach overhead, and move quickly throughout the facility.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-energy entertainment environment.
