Location: Hybrid – San Francisco Bay Area (Periodic onsite in San Francisco & San Ramon)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop network automation for software upgrades, configuration management, compliance validation, and remediation across on-premises and Azure environments.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with:
    • Python and REST API automation
    • Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
    • Azure DevOps Repos & YAML Pipelines
    • Git-based development workflows
    • Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP/VRRP, QoS).
  • Experience with Cisco SD-WAN, Firepower/FTD, Catalyst Wireless, F5, and Azure Networking (Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall).
  • Experience with ThousandEyes, Forward Networks, Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Nexus Dashboard, and network monitoring/automation platforms.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNP Enterprise or Cisco DevNet Associate/Professional certification.
  • Experience with AIOps, LLM-assisted automation, Model Context Protocol (MCP), or AI-driven infrastructure workflows.
