Pavilion Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health counselor to join our robust team in Phoenix, Arizona. This full-time position is structured as a remote role, allowing you to provide valuable therapeutic services to a diverse range of clients from the comfort of your own environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth preliminary interviews to assess mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting findings from the initial consultation to treatment completion.
  • Create comprehensive treatment and recovery plans tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions through individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities to foster engagement and healing.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaboration is key; therefore, you'll work alongside other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers to develop integrated intervention strategies.
  • Follow up with hospital staff and psychiatrists regarding clients who may require inpatient care, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Identify potential barriers to recovery and act proactively to implement preventive measures that mitigate these challenges.
  • Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing their loved ones' mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be serving a diverse client population, which includes individuals facing various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and addiction-related challenges. Our clients come from different backgrounds, and your ability to adapt your therapeutic approach will be crucial in meeting their unique cultural and individual needs.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Prior experience as a mental health counselor with a demonstrated capacity to manage diverse clinical cases.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms, to document client interactions effectively.
  • Knowledge of underlying health conditions and addiction disorders that may affect mental health.
  • Understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal communication, enabling you to convey complex information clearly.
  • A compassionate and empathetic demeanor that fosters strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals dealing with complex trauma and addiction issues.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement therapy plans that lead to significant client improvement.
  • Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a signing bonus may be offered to the right candidate. Our benefits package includes:
