Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges, develop comprehensive clinical diagnoses, and craft individualized treatment plans that reflect the clients' goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
  • Offer timely crisis intervention and support, equipping clients with coping strategies during acute mental health situations or emergencies.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records to comply with ethical and legal standards, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create a comprehensive and holistic care plan for each client.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and local resources that can support their journey towards recovery, advocating for their rights and needs as necessary.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with best practices and enhance therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist, such as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is needed.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients effectively.

Preferred Experience
