Job Summary:
1872 Consulting is seeking an Audio, Visual, Conferencing Technology Manager responsible for the selection, implementation, maintenance, and technical support of multimedia systems. The role includes managing the Multimedia Services function, staffing needs, performance objectives, and ensuring a seamless experience for audio visual services.
Responsibilities:
β€’ Manage the Multimedia Services function.
β€’ Manage the staffing needs which includes, but is not limited to, job design, recruiting, professional development, annual evaluations, salary reviews, performance management and disciplinary action.
β€’ Develop and monitor progress on Multimedia Services performance objectives.
β€’ Establish and monitor metrics and reports for Multimedia Services.
β€’ Establish and maintain mechanisms for identifying and tracking technology problems and resolutions.
β€’ Establish, implement and enforce company policies, standards and procedures associated with testing, requesting and delivery of Multimedia Services.
β€’ Select appropriate Multimedia Services products and service providers; participate in vendor and service provider negotiations; manage vendor and service provider performance.
β€’ Provide input on company space planning and design, focusing on audiovisual-centric spaces such as conference rooms, moot court rooms and training rooms.
β€’ Participate in high-level technology planning for high-profile events.
β€’ Ensure appropriate management of all audiovisual assets.
β€’ Manage the Multimedia equipment lifecycle which includes, but is not limited to, videoconferencing infrastructure, videoconferencing units, sound equipment, projectors and recording equipment.
β€’ Develop orders for all Multimedia equipment.
β€’ Ensure appropriate Multimedia Services content is available to support knowledge base.
β€’ Deliver and maintain appropriate content regarding Multimedia Services on the firm's intranet.
β€’ Maintain Multimedia Services support escalation and contact list for the Service Desk.
β€’ Work with other IT Directors and Managers on strategic initiatives.
β€’ Develop annual Multimedia Services capital budget and relevant individual project budgets; monitor actual to budget performance.
β€’ Maintain high level of current awareness of new technologies and technology trends associated with audio visual and presentation technology.
Qualifications:
Required:
β€’ 5+ years of experience with technical experience: audio, visual and conferencing technology
β€’ 5+ years of experience managing a team of technical employees
β€’ Experience working with Cisco products, including Cisco CUCM
Preferred:
