Job description

Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. is a growing multi-disciplined civil engineering firm in search of a Roadway Design Engineer based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Candidates should be honest, hard-working, team players that are capable of multi-tasking and learning new things. Daily duties may include project and staff management; customer relations; complete plan development and design on a variety of land development, roadway, and structural related projects.

Applicants who possess experience and knowledge of the following skills are encouraged to apply:

   • Design analysis and calculations to support a variety of roadway projects

   • Manage projects and mentor junior staff

   • Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce roadway design plans and contract documents

   • Coordination with owners, engineers, and construction managers

   • Demonstrate advanced use with MicroStation or Openroads

   • Adhere to a strict quality control requirements

Applicants have obtained BS or MS degree in civil engineering preferred, and 3 or more years of experience in roadway design. Additionally, applicants should be a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or have to ability to become licensed within 6-months. A valid driver’s license is required; employees may be required to travel.
