Job description

Job Title: SAP IBP & Ariba Consultant

Location: Minneapolis-MN


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP IBP & Ariba Consultant to join our digital transformation team. This role will focus on delivering innovative supply chain and procurement solutions by leveraging SAP Integrated Business Planning and SAP Ariba. The ideal candidate has deep functional knowledge in supply chain planning, sourcing & procurement processes, and hands-on experience implementing SAP IBP and Ariba solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or support the implementation of SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP, Control Tower) to optimize planning processes.

  • Configure and deploy SAP Ariba solutions (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Lifecycle) according to business requirements.

  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.

  • Translate business needs into detailed system design and functional specifications.

  • Integrate SAP IBP and Ariba with S/4HANA or ECC and third-party systems.

  • Support end-to-end project lifecycle: blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live support.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain and procurement processes.

  • Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement of deployed SAP solutions.

  • Mentor junior consultants and support internal knowledge sharing.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT, or related field.

  • 5+ years of SAP consulting experience, with at least:

    • 2 years in SAP IBP (including configuration, demand/supply planning).

    • 2 years in SAP Ariba (especially sourcing, procurement, supplier management).

  • Experience with SAP Fiori apps, CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), and data integration frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and strategic sourcing processes.

  • Knowledge of project methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and client-facing communication.

  • SAP certification in IBP or Ariba is a plus.


Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA integration.

  • Experience in change management and business process optimization.

  • Exposure to industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, or Life Sciences is an advantage.
