Job Purpose
The IT Enterprise Applications Senior Manager leads the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) application management activities at Herc Corporate. This role serves as the primary owner of Herc's Oracle ERP environment for procure-to-pay operations, partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive enhancements, ensure financial close readiness, and support the broader IT roadmap. The ideal candidate brings deep Oracle functional expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record of delivering results in a complex, fast-paced enterprise environment.
What you will do...
  • Lead the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) application management activities at Herc Corporate
  • Work with PTP counterparts in operations to understand requirements and changes that need to be made to the application
  • Ensure Herc Oracle ERP for Procure-to-Pay is maintained with enhancements, patches, and fixes
  • Ensure Herc can close financial books using Oracle ERP
  • Support the Herc IT roadmap and help implement new projects
  • Continue to own Herc M&A activities from an IT Procurement and purchasing operations perspective
  • Prioritize and categorize tickets, changes, and enhancements
  • Provide requirement analysis, process review, configuration and development, documentation, and system enhancements within an Oracle R12 environment
  • Work with Business Process Owners, Business Analysts, and Functional Analysts to derive requirements for configuration changes
  • Document requirements for changes and reports
  • Identify improvement areas and facilitate user acceptance and validation of functionality with the business • Resolve high priority incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Manage and direct PTP Functional Analysts
  • Create functional proof of concept on new functionality
  • Guide the technical development team on PTP activities

Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Oracle applications and technologies
  • Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) R12 expertise is a non-negotiable, foundational requirement for this role. The successful candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 functional configuration and design, direct ownership of Oracle EBS PTP modules including INV, PO, AP, iSupplier, iProcurement, and GL, a demonstrated ability to lead Oracle EBS functional workstreams, manage patches and upgrades, and mentor functional analysts, and experience with Oracle EBS integrations to adjacent systems such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and third-party platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting/Finance, or Technology
  • Procure-to-Pay business process knowledge
  • Oracle E-Business Suite functional knowledge in PTP modules - INV, PO, iSupplier & iProcurement, AP, Master Data Management, Contracts, Requisitions, and GL
  • Ability to learn, use, manage, and train end users on Oracle applications
  • Application Support Service Delivery (Service Management) knowledge
  • Ability to manage onsite and offshore resources effectively
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
