Qualifications

5 years of experience in a Release Engineering role. 

  • Ability to perform: 

            -   Source Code (Branching and Merging)
            -   Source control tool experience (e.g. GIT, SVN)
            -   Administration of web server and service technologies
            -   Shell scripting (Perl, Ruby, UNIX)

  • SQL experience
  • Build automation experience
  • Build tools experience
  • Experience administering and configuring Apache/Tomcat
  • Experience setting up Continuous Integration
  • Familiarity with submitting files via general data encryption
  • Deployment automation experience
  • Infrastructure automation experience (e.g. Chef, Puppet, etc.)
  • Continuous Delivery experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience of Waterfall and Agile SDLC, with particular emphasis on release engineering functions and DevOps
  • Experience with fast paced and overlapping product release cycles
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multi-location teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be flexible in a changing environment
  • Understanding of the principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management
  • Experience with ATG e-Commerce platform and tools a strong plus
     

Education            Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
