SUMMARY
Under general direction of the Information Technology Manager II, the incumbent is part of a team of managers that each manage an IT Application Product Team. The Application Product Team Manager will work with their peers to mature product development and management processes across ABC IT.
Each IT Application Product team consists of staff and vendors performing the development, business analysis, testing, project management, and maintenance and operation functions in support of business-critical products. The Application Product Team Manager will oversee and guide their staff through the entire application lifecycle, encompassing new application development, application testing and quality assurance, application release and deployment management, continuous application enhancements and bug fixes, strategic application modernization, as well as the formulation of service improvement plans and strategic initiatives.
The Application Product Team Manager is required to keep informed on technology trends and industry best practices and recommend appropriate technologies, foster a team environment through leadership and effectively negotiate with stakeholders to achieve ABC objectives. Position may require occasional travel. Evening and weekend work is occasionally necessary.

Working Conditions
Hybrid - This position will have an opportunity to partially telework one day a week (office-centered).
If the employee is working at an alternate work location during telework, they are required to maintain a safe working condition at the approved site, abide by the Departments Telework Policy and Ergonomic Policy, and agree to maintain a distraction-free remote work environment. Further, employees are required to be available through various forms of communication during work hours.
