Job Description

The AETS Scientist is responsible for leading product and application development work for bio-based succinic acid in the Personal & Household Care Industry. He/she contributes to the development of market strategy and the commercialization of new applications in this industry, by ensuring strong technical direction to the commercial team's activities and projects. This person will manage product and application development programs to deliver the performance data required for accelerating commercialization. Utilizing sound scientific understanding based on customer and market needs, this person will design and manage technical programs to evaluate, optimize and communicate the performance of bio succinic acid and derivatives across application areas. This is a leadership position which reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or equivalent in Polymer/Material Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, Minimum 5 years industrial experience in product or application development; Demonstrated experience in leading product and applications development, working with global, multifunctional teams; Previous work experience in personal care & household care
