This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing service operations throughout New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, while leading teams based in Moncton and Fredericton. The successful candidate will focus on developing employees, strengthening client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. We are looking for a people-focused leader who can build strong teams, champion Flynn's culture and processes, and deliver exceptional customer service.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead and develop office staff and field teams based in Moncton and Fredericton, supporting service operations throughout New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners while helping drive business growth.
  • Coach, mentor, and support employees while fostering accountability, collaboration, and a high-performing team culture.
  • Review and approve estimates, proposals, pricing, and service quotations while ensuring customer expectations are met.  
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Superintendents to coordinate workload, staffing, project schedules, and customer priorities.
  • Represent Flynn at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and customer-facing activities.
  • Manage departmental workflow, invoicing, accounts receivable, budgets, profitability, and operational processes utilizing Flynn systems and tools.
  • Support employee development, performance management, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Champion Flynn's safety culture, operational procedures, and performance standards across both office and field teams.
  • Travel throughout New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island to support customers, employees, project execution, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience within construction, roofing, facility management, property management, building maintenance, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.  
  • Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Construction-related knowledge with experience reviewing estimates, specifications, drawings, or project documentation considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar construction software is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
