Job description

Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist for a full-time clinical position at a university-affiliated teaching facility in metropolitan Phoenix. This state-designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and ABA-verified Burn Center offers a dynamic environment for clinical practice and teaching, with opportunities for academic appointment.

Clinical Practice Overview

Manage anesthesia for a wide range of surgeries: Labor & Delivery, Neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastic surgery, burn treatment, level 1 trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, special procedures outside the OR, utilize TEE equipment for perioperative and critical care patients. Approximately 11,000 anesthesia encounters per year.

Call Schedule

In-house call 4-5 times per month.
