This position primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while participating in outpatient therapy sessions for a diverse clientele. • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients’ specific emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges encountered during rehabilitation, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that set realistic goals aligned with their rehabilitation timelines.
• Serve as a staunch advocate for clients and their families, assisting them in navigating community resources, support systems, and social services to bolster their overall recovery efforts.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the safety and emotional stability of clients in vulnerable situations.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans to adhere to all legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to provide comprehensive client-centered care.
• Deliver educational sessions for clients and their families regarding emotional aspects of rehabilitation, coping mechanisms, and effective self-care strategies to facilitate smoother transitions through the recovery process.
• Engage actively in community outreach and networking initiatives to enhance referral resources and cultivate valuable community partnerships that benefit our clients.

You will focus primarily on clients navigating the challenges of rehabilitation, including those recovering from physical injuries, mental health disorders, and emotional traumas. Your empathetic support will be critical in helping them develop coping strategies and resilience, ensuring they feel understood and empowered throughout their journey.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in a counseling role, ideally within rehabilitation or healthcare settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, coupled with a deep commitment to maintaining ethical and confidential counseling practices.
• Proven capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also being able to operate independently with strong self-management skills.

• Prior experience working with diverse client populations, particularly in outpatient or rehabilitative settings.
• Familiarity with therapeutic methodologies and practices that incorporate integrated treatment approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or motivational interviewing.
• Experience utilizing telehealth technology to deliver counseling services effectively.
