Job Description:
Client is searching for a driven and dynamic Senior IT Financial Analyst (contract-to-hire) with solid technology and financial management acumen to join the IT Finance team within the Enterprise IT Services organization (EITS).
The IT Finance team supports the CIO and the CIO Executive Leadership Team in strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial areas.
As a part of the IT Finance team, you will report directly to the Director of IT Finance assisting in supporting the Delivery Management Domain.
The Senior IT Financial Analyst must have a strong financial analysis background with proven career progression, problem solving skills, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively.
You will provide support to the Delivery Management key stakeholders through technical expertise, financial analytics, driving process and data improvement.
Responsibilities:
Provide variance analysis comparing actual technology spend versus plan, forecast, and prior year.
Perform and coordinate project-based financial analysis and modeling to support reporting of the operation and capital spend. Including assisting in business case preparation and submission for financial investment.
Review department results with Delivery Management Senior Leadership team on a monthly basis to highlight performance and coordinate on forecasts.
Support the Annual Planning and Quarterly Forecasting process for the Delivery Management organization.
Create insightful and actionable analyses to explain and act upon significant business initiatives.
Create recurring or ad-hoc reports and models for the purpose of allowing management to make data driven decisions.
Works with Delivery Management Senior Leadership team to prepare FTE requests.
Complete monthly close process including accruals and adjusting entries.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Five (4) + years of experience in the field of financial planning/analysis.
