ABOUT US: Ascensus Global, Inc. (formerly MultiLingual Solutions, Inc.) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with more than 21 years of successful experience providing professional language services, foreign language and cultural training, and analysis support to a broad client base consisting of more than 40 U.S. military and intelligence customers, as well as over 2,000 civilian government, commercial and non-profit organizations in various fields. With ISO 9001:2015 and 17100:2015 certifications, AGI provides services in more than 100 languages, employing innovative technologies and methodologies and applying best practices from both the Government and commercial arenas to advance each customer's unique communication and operational objectives throughout the U.S. and across the globe.


POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking reliable and bilingual experience for a distribution center located in Pottsville PA. In this role, interpreters will provide in-person, and possibly remote, support for new hires, onboarding, training, and support in a warehouse environment to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.


Languages Needed: Spanish, Dari, Haitian Creole, Amharic, Arabic, Turkish, French, American Sign Language.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct on-site training sessions for new warehouse employees regarding safety protocols, equipment handling, and warehouse management systems.
  • Act as a real-time interpreter between management and staff to facilitate daily operations, performance reviews, and safety briefings.
  • Ensure all trainees understand OSHA requirements and warehouse safety regulations.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: N/A


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English and one of the foreign languages.
  • 3-5 years' experience in interpretation and training, preferably within a distribution center environment.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills,

Preferred Requirements:

  • Professional Interpreter Certification or similar accreditation is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Hours will be determined by the distribution center's hours.

Pay Range: $60 - $90 an hour
