Front Desk Agent / Re:Fuel Attendant (Part-Time)
Location: Aloft Hotel, Mount Laurel, NJ Schedule: Part-Time | 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Position Summary
Aloft is seeking an energetic, customer-focused team member to serve in a hybrid role as both a Front Desk Agent and Re:Fuel Attendant. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by assisting with front desk operations while maintaining the Re:Fuel grab-and-go food and beverage area during the morning hours. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Front Desk Agent Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management systems.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with guest inquiries.
- Process reservations, room assignments, and payment transactions.
- Address guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality.
- Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
Re:Fuel Attendant Responsibilities
- Prepare and stock breakfast and grab-and-go food and beverage items.
- Ensure Re:Fuel area remains clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices.
- Replenish coffee stations, beverages, snacks, and condiments.
- Track inventory needs and communicate restocking requirements to management.
- Assist guests with food and beverage purchases and questions.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby and guest service areas.
- Follow all hotel policies, safety standards, and brand requirements.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hotel, hospitality, retail, or food service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel software systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
