Position Description:
At ServiceTrade, you'll build technology that matters - for your career, your team, and the thousands of commercial contractors who rely on our platform every day. We're on a mission to partner with commercial trades to deliver technology that enhances technician productivity, improves customer experiences, and drives scalable growth.
We're looking for a Senior Events & Trade Association Marketing Manager who's excited to make an impact. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and performance of ServiceTrade's trade shows, industry conferences, association marketing programs, and partner events. Additionally, you will contribute to the strategy and scale of the overall Events function.
Why ServiceTrade:
You'll belong here from the start.
We bring together kind, curious people with diverse perspectives and trust them with meaningful work. You'll have ownership, clarity, and support to solve real problems, make a visible impact for our customers, and continue growing as your role evolves.
On the Events team, you'll have a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for end-to-end event ownership - from strategic planning and budget management through on-site execution and post-event ROI analysis.
About You:
The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, operates with exceptional attention to detail, and delivers flawless execution across every touchpoint. This role requires both strategic thinking and operational precision. You must be equally comfortable building an event and marketing strategy from scratch and personally ensuring every shipment, contract, registration list, and follow-up workflow is executed perfectly.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
Event Planning & Execution
  • Own the full lifecycle of assigned events, trade shows, conferences, association programs, and partner activations
  • Develop event-level strategies aligned to pipeline, brand, and customer engagement goals
  • Define clear KPIs and success metrics for each event and proactively optimize toward them
  • Evaluate performance and make data-driven recommendations to improve portfolio impact
  • Identify opportunities to expand presence or adjust investment based on ROI and strategic alignment

Budget & Financial Management
  • Own individual event budgets from forecasting through reconciliation
  • Track and manage expenses with precision and transparency
  • Negotiate vendor and partner contracts to maximize value and control costs
  • Deliver accurate ROI reporting and pipeline attribution analysis in Salesforce

End-to-End Event Execution
  • Manage all logistics including venue coordination, booth design and setup, vendor selection, equipment rentals, freight and shipping coordination (including multi-stop shipments), and on-site staffing
  • Oversee registration processes, attendee communications, travel coordination, and speaker logistics
  • Coordinate production and distribution of collateral, giveaways, and promotional materials
  • Maintain detailed project timelines, execution checklists, and contingency plans
  • Anticipate risks and proactively resolve issues before they impact event performance
  • Serve as on-site lead for assigned events, ensuring seamless execution and professional brand representation
  • Provide critical operational and logistical support for large-scale, company-hosted events.

Association, Trade & Partner Event Marketing
  • Build and manage relationships with industry associations, event organizers, and strategic partners
  • Own the planning and execution of partner-sponsored events, including co-branded activations, regional field events, and joint conference participation
  • Collaborate with Sales and Partnerships teams to align partner event strategy with revenue goals and account priorities
  • Partner closely with the Brand & Communications team to identify, pitch, and secure strategic speaking opportunities and thought leadership placements
  • Evaluate association and partner event investments for strategic value, audience alignment, and long-term impact
  • Develop repeatable processes for identifying, prioritizing, and nurturing high-impact association and partner relationships
  • Ensure brand consistency and operational excellence across all association and partner-facing activations

Sales & Marketing Alignment
  • Partner closely with sales to develop pre-event, on-site, and post-event engagement strategies
  • Coordinate lead capture processes and ensure accurate, timely entry into Salesforce
  • Support development of promotional campaigns (email, digital, and social) to drive attendance and maximize engagement
  • Collaborate on post-event follow-up programs to accelerate pipeline conversion

Operational Excellence
  • Build and maintain detailed event plans, production schedules, and inventory tracking systems
  • Maintain accurate inventory of trade show assets and marketing materials
