About the Role
As our National Distribution Sales Manager, you will grow our business within an identified set of U.S. and Canadian distributors. In this role, you will develop and execute key initiatives, build and nurture deep relationships with a variety of stakeholders, oversee account growth through effective programs, drive demand generation and conversion, and drive alignment across internal teams. You will be responsible for inventory management, demand planning, and day-to-day operational execution. This role requires a dynamic, creative, self-motivated individual who can identify opportunities for growth and implement them.
What You Will Do
  • Program Development & Execution: Identify growth opportunities, create tailored programs to address account needs, and ensure seamless execution to drive results.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly audit our brand positioning and performance via sell-through analysis and market trend data, create suggestions for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Proactive Engagement: Regular engagement with distributors, including their buying, inventory management, training, logistics, and executive teams.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Provide guidance on inventory management, pricing, SKU set up, demand planning, forecasting, and operational support to ensure seamless day-to-day business execution.
  • Drive Sell Through: Generate new ideas to increase sales of our products, including but not limited to demos, contests, events, promotions, trainings, etc.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal peers, including marketing, customer care, product development, and technical support, to align on strategy and execution.
  • Sales Enablement Tools and Trainings: Develop and conduct trainings to ensure sales team members are equipped and motivated to sell our products.
  • Drive Product Launch Activities: Organize and drive roadmap meetings, create go-to-market and launch plans for new products that will effectively leverage your distributors' strengths.
  • Communication & Messaging: Serve as the primary voice for Harman with these accounts, delivering key messages, scheduling key meetings, and leading QBRs to review performance.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage and align on project needs with large integrators who procure through distribution

What You Need to Be Successful
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Pro AV distribution account management, with a proven track record of sales growth
  • Proven experience developing and executing distribution programs that deliver measurable results
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking metrics, forecasting, and providing data-driven insights
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Bonus Points if You Have
  • Technical knowledge of PRO Audio and Video products.

Salary Ranges:
$ 108,750 - $ 159,500
