Job description

Our client in Wayne County, MI is actively seeking a Civil Project Manager to join their growing team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for having the following skills and carrying out the following tasks:

  • Extensive experienced with a local heavy civil construction contractor.
  • Must be dedicated to work full time do whatever it takes to get the job done. no remote work. (mandatory)
  • Proven ability to manage projects exceeding $20M.
  • Ability and knowledge to create estimates for change of work.
  • Greate attitude, strong leadership, communication, and meeting-management skills.
  • Mandatory experience installing and managing underground water main, storm, and sanitary sewer systems.
  • Mandatory experience with HCSS Heavy Bid and HeavyJ ob.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 5-10 years of heavy civil project management experience.
  • Proficient in job cost tracking, financial reporting, and change order management.
  • Experience creating and managing project schedules.
  • Familiarity with CAD (preferred), Agtek, and PlanSwift.
  • Ability to manage subcontract issuance and administration.
  • References from previous employers required. (mandatory)
