Authentic African Cuisine Cook (Part-Time)

Position Title: Authentic African Cuisine Cook
Job Type: Part-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Authentic African Cuisine Cook to prepare traditional African dishes and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of African cooking techniques, ingredients, spices, and recipes, and be committed to providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook authentic African dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure proper food preparation, cooking, storage, and handling procedures.
  • Maintain consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation of all menu items.
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Follow all food safety and health regulations.
  • Assist with menu planning and the development of new authentic African dishes.
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience preparing authentic African cuisine required.
  • Knowledge of traditional African ingredients, spices, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion controls accurately.

Requirements
