This Position reports to:

IPU Manager


In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes.
The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.
  • Recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
  • Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance.
  • Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
  • Prepares annual production budget, oversees progress, and determines actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; mechanical/electrical engineering preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing/production environment
  • 2+ years of management/supervisor experience
  • SAP experience is highly preferred
  • Flexibility to work other shifts as needed
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
