Position Overview
iSTEM is seeking a qualified, student-centered High School Science Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about science instruction and committed to helping students succeed in both Chemistry and Physics. The ideal candidate will create engaging, rigorous learning experiences that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Student Learning
  • Teach high school Chemistry and Physics courses aligned with Ohio Learning Standards
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, laboratory activities, assessments, and instructional materials
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs, learning styles, and abilities of students
  • Utilize hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences to promote student engagement and scientific understanding
  • Integrate instructional technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes
  • Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction and support student achievement

Classroom Environment & Student Support
