Baltimore City Improvements, seeks an experienced, professional full-time Assistant Manager in Baltimore, Maryland for Printers Square Apartments. This is a on-site position based out of the community's management office with a heavy concentration of Section 8 certification and Tax Credit. Printers Square consists of 60 loft style apartments.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Manager has the primary responsibility of ensuring the property is maintaining compliance as it relates to Tax Credit, LIHTC, HUD, EIV, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • A solid understanding of HUD (Project Based Section 8) and LIHTC program.
  • Experience in multiple program layers a plus.
  • 2+ years affordable experience working at a site level or similar Compliance experience.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills to work independently and as a team.
  • Superior communication skills and goal oriented.
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
  • Conduct tenant reviews; process income and asset verifications; ensure 50059s are submitted in timely manner.
  • Maintain LIHTC files and resolve LIHTC discrepancies.
  • Strong experience with Yardi as it relates to Compliance.
  • Review move-in eligibility for approval.
  • Ensure Tax Credit certifications, HUD annual certifications and HUD interim certifications are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Organize records and maintain filing system for certification.
  • Work with Compliance Department to ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, DHCD and investor expectations.
  • Prepare tenant documents for audits and reports; reconcile discrepancies; complete forms and other paperwork as required.
  • Show all available apartments.
  • Conduct move ins/move outs in system.
  • Help with lease signings.
