LOCATION: City of Los Angeles - General Services Department, Parking and Sustainability Division
WORK SCHEDULE: This position offers a full-time work schedule, 5/40 or 9/80 Monday-Friday
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support departmental sustainability programs and provide daily administrative assistance for Sustainability and Parking operations.
- Coordinate with General Services Department (GSD) divisions to implement directives from the Mayor and City Council.
- Oversee implementation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging fees and monitor related revenue streams.
- Assist in managing a $27.9M budget, including parking revenue, MICLA funding for EV infrastructure, operating budgets, and projected EV charging fee revenue.
- Prepare reports for CTIEP, Financial Status Reports, and Communication Service Requests.
- Coordinate vendor work on engineering and design for new initiatives; oversee procurement of EV hardware/software and equipment logistics.
- Develop revenue projections and maintain EV charger infrastructure.
- Conduct site visits for current and potential project locations.
- Produce monthly EV usage reports using network applications.
- Manage ServiceNow requests, schedule repairs, and ensure timely completion.
- Perform cost analyses and track operational data.
- Working knowledge of FMS is preferred.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates for this position must be current City of Los Angeles employees with the civil service job classification of Management Assistant.
