Job description

The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community, including financial performance, administrative tasks, and resident relations. This role plays a key part in ensuring the property runs efficiently while maintaining a high level of service for residents and prospects.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven. A strong focus on collections and delinquency management is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with residents regarding balances, payment plans, and account resolutions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily property operations and act in the Manager's absence
  • Collect rent, manage delinquency, and maintain accurate resident ledgers
  • Perform leasing duties including tours and move-in/move-out inspections
  • Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns professionally
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up for completion
  • Attend eviction court and understand the eviction process (TAA compliant)
  • Conduct daily property walks and inspect vacant units
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of property management or related experience preferred
  • Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
