The Assistant Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience while serving as a key leader within the store. In partnership with the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager supports daily retail operations, including marketing and advertising initiatives, customer service resolution, employee training and development, inventory management, and all other aspects of store operations. Working collaboratively with the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager helps provide clear direction and leadership to the retail team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Operational Oversight:
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to supervise daily operations, assignments, and team performance
  • Support recruiting, hiring, training, and ongoing development of store staff to build a high-performing team
  • Maintain a professional, respectful, and positive demeanor when interacting with employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Foster a welcoming, organized, and engaging store environment to create an exceptional shopping experience

Financial Management:
  • Assist the Store Manager with budgeting, ordering, and operational planning to meet financial goals
  • Monitor and safeguard retail assets to minimize shrinkage and protect company resources
  • Support loss prevention initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

Customer Service:
  • Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service across the store and guide team members to do the same
  • Ensure customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded in line with company standards
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, turning challenges into positive experiences

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience guiding and motivating a team
