Job description

The Contracts and Support Services Division (CSSD) is one of four divisions in the Department's Resource Management Bureau. The Management Analyst position reports to a Senior Management Analyst I and personally performs the following functions:
• Contract administration and procurement;
• Purchasing, including reviewing and processing of invoices and receiving goods utilizing the City's Financial Management System (FMS);
• Producing various charts, reports and statistics;
• Assisting in the development and monitoring of the Department's annual budget and other administrative duties, as assigned.
• This position may supervise Management Assistants or other classifications, and would be responsible for assigning work, providing training and technical guidance, and evaluating performance.
This position has frequent contact with other City departments and vendors, and is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and ensuring compliance with all applicable City directives, rules, and procedures.
CSSD is seeking candidates with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Successful employees at CSSD also exhibit high levels of resourcefulness, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
