About the Department/ Team:
Invesco's Procurement organization consists of dedicated individuals across the globe who manage the organization's spending on goods and services while mitigating supplier risk. The Analyst will collaborate with the Manager, Supplier Relationship Management within the Procurement Operations department.
About the Role:
The Supplier Relationship Management Analyst, will support key initiatives within Invesco's Supplier Relationship Management Program. You will be responsible for supporting the program and working with the related technology solutions. The primary responsibility is to assess the most complex supplier relationships at Invesco, providing support and ensuring these relationships are managed in compliance with the Supplier Relationship Management Program framework.
Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Analyze supplier risk assessment responses to validate existence of adequate controls and identify potential risks
  • Engage suppliers and business partners to build risk remediation plans, oversee progress against those to ensure completion
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with key collaborators to review supplier information and develop action plans
  • Make recommendations to business partners (including executives) for plans to address any identified supplier issues related to performance, risk or other
  • Support SROs in the business to ensure program participation, compliance and provide any needed support or training
  • Compile periodic reports on program initiatives and assessments status for committees and senior management
  • Collaborate with various teams (e.g., Security, Compliance, Privacy, Technology, etc.) to segment suppliers into risk tiers
  • Assist the Manager, Supplier Relationship Management on any activities as needed related to executive oversight of the SRM program
  • Organizing and maintaining accurate supplier records and documentation

Requirements of the Role:
  • 1-3 years directly related work experience in supplier/supplier relationship management, supplier risk management, or audit
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Decision Analysis concentrations
  • Hands-on experience with reviewing policies, procedures, and independent audits
  • Experience with supplier contracts, performance metrics
  • Knowledge of supplier risk and relationship management practices or audit
  • Ability to detail and track data for business level consumption of supplier services for decision-making
  • Ability to conduct sophisticated analysis and present data in a meaningful way
  • Open-minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people's opinions
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to optimally communicate over the phone with a variety of individuals at all technical and business levels are required
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and project management skills with a detailed orientation
  • Ability to interpret detailed business information into transparent conclusions and recommendations
  • Experience with ProcessUnity a plus
