About the Role
Join a dynamic team as an Oracle NMS/OIC Engineer, where you'll leverage your expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to deliver robust, scalable integration solutions for mission-critical enterprise applications. This is a high-impact role with opportunities to work on innovative projects, expand your skill set, and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT)
- Build, configure, and manage connections, adapters, orchestrations, and secure file-based integrations
- Implement and support service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions utilizing REST/SOAP web services, XML, XSD, WSDL, and JSON
- Lead data mapping, transformation, and canonical modeling initiatives using XSLT and XQuery
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ensure relational database performance
- Develop robust error handling, fault management, and retry mechanisms in integration flows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable system integrations and resolve technical issues
- Perform monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for integrations, interfaces, and performance metrics
- Support automation and job orchestration through Unix/Linux scripting and scheduling mechanisms
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) - integrations, orchestrations, connection management
- Proficiency in Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT) for secure, file-based integrations
- Expertise in REST/SOAP web services, XML, XSD, WSDL, JSON
- Strong skills in data mapping, transformations, canonical models, XSLT, XQuery
- Solid understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL (queries, joins, procedures, performance basics)
- Knowledge of error handling, fault management, retry mechanisms in integration flows
- Unix/Linux command line proficiency
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) integrations
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, code repositories, release management)
- Experience with Git for version control and code collaboration
- Understanding of monitoring, logging tools, and troubleshooting best practices
