Location: Maryville, TN
Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Type: Travel Contract
Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Orientation: 16 hours (Non-billable)


Job Description

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for an outpatient imaging center. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both mammography and ultrasound, along with the ability to perform a variety of diagnostic and screening procedures in a patient-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
  • Conduct 3D, digital, and diagnostic mammograms
  • Assist with ultrasound procedures as required
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality
  • Operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety and clinical standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
  • Provide compassionate patient care and education
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications
  • ARRT (M) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
  • Must have ultrasound experience in addition to mammography
  • Prior travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
  • Strong experience in outpatient imaging settings

Compliance Requirements
  • Completion of 40-hour initial mammography training
  • 8 hours digital mammography training
  • 8 hours tomosynthesis training
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current ARRT certification
  • Minimum 15 mammography CEUs within the last 3 years
  • Minimum 200 mammograms performed within the last 2 years
