Security Officer Mall Center Mobile Driver

As a Security Officer Mall Center Mobile Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and staff. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail center location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, garages, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Assist with access control, visitor interactions, directions, lost-and-found inquiries, and adherence to property rules and posted regulations.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
